Do I need to book a table at The Runhead?
While booking isn’t always essential, we highly recommend reserving a table in advance during busy periods such as weekends, match days, and special events. Booking ahead helps us ensure we can accommodate you and provide the best possible experience.
Please note that some of our events require advance booking, including our Breakfast With Santa and Christmas Day Lunch, which are subject to availability and will often sell out well in advance.

Are dogs allowed in The Runhead?
Absolutely! We love welcoming our furry friends to The Runhead! Dogs are welcome in our bar and terrace, where water bowls will be provided on request.
Do you have outdoor seating?
Yes, we have a spacious outdoor terrace that’s perfect for relaxing with friends or family. During the warmer months, we also open our outdoor bar, making it the ideal spot for drinks or food in the sunshine. While outdoor tables cannot be booked in advance, you’re welcome to add a request to your reservation, and our team will do their best to accommodate you on the day, subject to availability.
Is The Runhead accessible for wheelchair users?
Yes, The Runhead offers step-free access throughout the venue and on our outdoor terrace. Our spacious layout allows easy movement for wheelchair users, mobility aid users, and guests with pushchairs.
Do you have accessible toilets?
Yes, accessible toilets are available on site for guests who require them.
Is there parking available?
Yes, we provide free ample parking for our guests.
Do you cater for guests with dietary requirements?
Yes, our menus clearly identify vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free dishes. Our kitchen team is happy to discuss allergies and dietary requirements and will accommodate wherever possible.

Yes, we stock a range of low and no-alcohol drinks, including alcohol-free beers, ciders, 0% prosecco, mocktails, premium soft drinks, and children’s beverages.
Is The Runhead suitable for families?
Yes, we encourage families to come together and create lasting memories at our venue. We offer highchairs, baby changing facilities, children’s menus, and family-friendly seating. We also have a dedicated soft play and Netflix area for the little ones.

We operate dedicated recycling streams for food waste, glass, cardboard, and general waste.

We use LED lighting, motion-sensor lighting, smart heating controls, and low-flow water systems throughout the venue. We also monitor utility usage regularly to identify opportunities for improvement.
How do you keep your customers safe?
